05 Why believe what science tells us on climate change?

This is not a new idea.  Almost every government in the world has signed up to action to stop climate change.  It had to be convincing to get that to happen. It took much effort to achieve this and it took decades.   The governments set up a special organisation called the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) which has reports every four years.

IPCC Reports only contain evidence which is not controversial and based on the agreement of almost every scientist who is expert on climate change.   Four of the Reports have given serious warning that carbon is wrecking our climate.  The warnings are ultra-cautious because they are only based on what is abundently established by the science but as more scientific evidence is found the warning have become more and more alarming.
